John Lucht founded The John Lucht Consultancy Inc. in 1977 after 6 years as a prominent member and then an officer of Heidrick and Struggles in New York. Objective: to do searches with only a very limited number of client companies off-limits, instead of protecting all the clients of a giant firm which, at that time, already had over 2,000 client relationships.
Today, John handles much of our search activity personally and supervises all of it. Prior to entering executive search, John had a decade of experience in consumer products advertising, marketing and general management at J. Walter Thompson Company, Bristol-Myers, and Tetley Tea.
